Accessible Text Alternative for Wolds Word Cloud
This is an accessible text alternative, for use with assistive technology, for a word cloud infographic composed of words or phrases linked to the heritage of the Yorkshire Wolds. This was derived from discussions with the local community as part of work on formulating a research strategy for the area. Many of the words are place names, topographical features or relate to the foods and beverages one can enjoy in the area.
Prominent words
The frequency with which the terms were mentioned is reflected in the size of the letters in the depiction. It is dominated by the words ‘landscape’ ‘fish’ and ‘chips’. The words 'little', 'Archaeology', 'Thixendale', 'Wolds valleys' and 'Yorkshire’ were also popular.
