The collection comprises a large panoramic group view of staff at RAF Kingsnorth on the Medway Peninsula in Kent taken December 1918 annotated 'Kingsnorth Airship Construction Station Dec 1918. the photograph was taken by Panora Ltd. 60 Doughty St. WC. and has the print number 3153. RAF Kingsnorth was the prime airship base during WWI and over 500 men and women are depicted with part of the airship shed in the background.
The collection was given to the NMR by Helen Appleyard in 2007.
