A group of boys swinging on top gates in the Welshpool Town Lock, on a section of the Shropshire Union Canal known as the Montgomery Canal. The warehouse to the north subsequently became the Powysland Museum in 1990.

Description

The top gates were removed in 1964 and are now at the Canal Museum, Stoke Bruerne, Northamptonshire.
