The farm and farm buildings date from the late 19th century and were originally known as Ann's Farm. Mapping shows that by 1923 the farm's name had changed to Mount Pleasant Farm and Ann's Copse had been established. In 1939 the farm was called Beacon House. The farm buildings are now part of YHA Cholderton Stonehenge, a Youth Hostel Association property, located on a rare breeds farm.
