Description

This is a late twentieth-century copy of an early twentieth-century original, (MP/TYN0036). The map shows spot heights on land and depths at sea and has an explanatory key in the lower left-hand section. The original item was marked 'SECRET' in the upper right-hand corner and stamped by an Admiralty Office Official Agent in the lower left-hand corner with the date 11th July 1903. 'Arcs of fire' from various points along the coast are also marked. There is no conventional scale but instead the latitude and longitude have been marked at the edges of the map.
