A series of 18 stereoscopic cards containing 36 black and white photographic prints, taken in around 1860-1870. Locations in England and Wales include Eaton Hall, Monmouth Priory, Rochester Castle, Isle of Wight, Llanberis. There is also one stereoscopic view of a possibly foreign location, as well as a series of three sculptures.
Three of the cards are stamped ‘P.H. Thomas, Chemist, 6 High Street, Purton’, two are annotated with ‘F. Bedford’ and one is marked ‘Frederick York and Son’. Two were produced by the London Stereoscopic and Photographic Company.
