Description

The collection consists of c.200 drawings depicting small finds found at Wroxeter Roman City. They were produced for the archaeological report entitled ‘The Roman Baths and Macellum at Wroxeter: Excavations by Graham Webster 1955-85’, compiled and edited by Peter Ellis and published in 2000 by English Heritage.

The drawings show fragments of pottery, details of its decoration, and fragments of Roman vessel glass. The collection includes drawings that were not published in the final report.

The collection was acquired by The Historic England Archive before 2015.
