Series: Hallam Ashley "G" series

Description

This large group (almost 60% of the total collection) of negatives and file prints comprises the commercial stock shots of the company taken between 1931 and 1983. It derives its name from the "G" prefix of the original reference numbers. The series has been divided into two sub-series, one of English sites and the other of foreign locations.

Although national in coverage, East Anglia and particularly Norfolk account for about 80% of the group.
