Description

Album of photographs and postcards of Ashby De la Zouch Castle and its principal components: the Keep or Hastings Tower; the Kitchen Tower, the Chapel, the Great Hall, the Buttery, the Cellar and the Solar. There are also images of the grounds, the curtain wall and the garden pavilions.

Archival History

The album was probably created by the Ministry of Public Buildings and Works sometime after 1962 using Office of Works images, and continued until at least 1970
