Box of 36 packets, containing prints from the 1930s to the 1980s showing various projects, including:
- a model for a Milton Keynes shopping area; - Northcliffe House, Bristol after renovation; - an artists impression of Belgrave House, Basingstoke; - pile driving and other work for Grain Power Station; - the Smith Kline & French laboratories at Welwyn Garden City; - a prefabricated bathroom in Carlisle; - the Thames Foundry; - Riding Mill Pumping Station; - an arch at Liverpool Road station, Manchester; - Normanby Wharf; - the CIS tower in Manchester; - Mount Pleasant airport on the Falkland Islands in 1984-85; - work in Yacambu, Venezuela; - American projects from the late 1970s; - Tyringham Hall health spa in 1969 - views of exhibition stands and display panels from the 1980s; - 1950s views of stress testing facilities; - 1960s brochure photography of 'Faircrete' concrete reliefs; - an advertising cartoon from the 1970s/80s; - negatives showing posters from 1933; - various prints showing the Laing company premises and staff from 1939 to 1984; - views of newly-constructed Laing buildings from the 1930s; - views of flooding in Carlisle, 1931; - Clifton House, London, 1954; - a bowl presented by Laing to the Mayor of Carlisle in 1964; - prints showing buildings built by Laing in the London area during World War II; - the SE Opperman Gears factory, Elstree, circa 1950; - a picture of members of staff at the Milk Marketing Board factory in Kendal in 1962; - a 1930s or 1940s view of the otherwise unidentified 'Lines's Factory' site; - bridge works in Iraq between 1936 and 1958; - Carr's factory in Carlisle under construction in 1929; - reinforcement work for the walls of Tilbury Docks in the mid 20th century; - the opening of Southam Hall in 1938; - the Laing staff outing to Southport in 1956; - a children's party in the 1950s; - The MoD Petrol Storage Depot at Hethersett, Norfolk, in the 1980s.
