Box of 267 prints, slides and negatives in 12 packets, comprising:
- photocopies of building work photographs from the late 19th/early 20th centuries; - formal and informal portraits of Sir John Laing, Lady Beatrice Laing, Sir Kirby Laing and Sir Martin Laing, with views of them at social and business events, including views of Sir John and Lady Beatrice being presented to HRH the Queen Mother at Coryton Refinery in 1954 (before Sir John's knighthood); Sir Kirby at the opening of the Piper Hill estate in 1966; at a Hallowe'en party in 1969; with Yehudi Menuhin and Elisabeth Frink unveiling the sculpture 'Paternoster' in 1975; recieving honourary membership of the American Society of Civil Engineers in 1975; and at his retirement dinner in 1980; - various prints showing identified and unidentified Laing officials and staff between the 1930s and 1960s.
