Conservative Club, Coggeshall, Essex

The former house and brewery is now a Conservative Club and offices. The timber framed building was constructed in the late 17th century and was altered in the late 19th century. The brewery was formerly owned by John Beard. Beard was an administrator of the English East India Company and had served as Chief Agent and President of Bengal in the late seventeenth century.
