Ebley Mills, Stroud, Gloucestershire

There was a corn mill on this site in 1393 and in the 15th century the site comprised a corn mill and a fulling mill. This textile mill was built on the other side of the canal in 1820-23. It has been described as perhaps the finest example of a stone built mill in the country.
