Farleigh Hungerford Castle, Farleigh Hungerford, Somerset
A distant view of Farleigh Hungerford Castle showing its picturesque setting in the valley of the River Frome. The manor of Farleigh was fortified in the late 14th century by Sir Thomas Hungerford and extended by his son. This site is now in the care of English Heritage (2010).
