Flatford Mill House, East Bergholt, Suffolk
Flatford Mill and Millers house and cottage was built in the 18th century. It came into the possession of the Constable family in the middle of that century. It may have been the birthplace of the famous pastoral painter John Constable. The Grade I status reflects its significance in the life and work of John Constable.
