Grotto at Old Wardour Castle, Donhead St Andrew, Wiltshire

Grotto to the north east of Old Wardour Castle. It was built in 1792, within the old bailey as part of a landscaping scheme to create pleasure gardens. The gardens were worked on by Capability Brown from 1773. This site is now in the care of English Heritage (2010).
