Kirby Hall, Gretton, Northamptonshire
The empty shell of the north side of the inner courtyard at Kirby Hall in Gretton. The Hall was built in the 1570s for Sir Humphrey Stafford who died before its completion. The house then passed to the Hattons who had it significantly altered in 1640. By the 1900s it was a ruin. This property is owned by the Earl of Winchilsea and managed by English Heritage (2010).
