Medieval Merchant's House, 58 French Street, Southampton, Hampshire
The interior of the Medieval Merchant's House in Southampton. The house was constructed in circa 1290 for the wealthy merchant, John Fortin. To the right of the trestle table is a fireplace that is a later addition to the medieval house. This property is now in the care of English Heritage (2010).
