Port of Liverpool Building, Liverpool, Merseyside
The office for the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board, was built in 1907 to designs Arnold Thornley in collaboration with Briggs and Wolstenholme. It has been said that the design of the dome was borrowed from a design made by Professor Reilly for the Anglican Cathedral competition of 1902. The Port of Liverpool Building together with the Liver and Cunard Building's, are known as the three graces.
