Pulteney Bridge, Bath, Bath and North East Somerset
Pulteney Bridge was built by Robert Adam in 1770. It is one of only three bridges in the world lined with shops. It is named after Francis Pulteney who owned the land and paid for it. It provided a direct route from Bath to Bathwick replacing a ferry.
