Pump House and Pump Masters House, London Road, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire

The new spring water pumping station was built in 1906 in Arts and Crafts style. The engine house still has its pumps in place. Water was pumped from boreholes and treated to remove iron by air injection and pressure filters. Chlorine was then added and pumped to a water tower and covered reservoir at Toplers Hill.
