Rhyddings Mill, Rhyddings Street, Accrington, Lancashire
This building was built as a cotton weaving mill. It was built in 1856 by the Watson Brothers. It is an interesting example of a mid 19th century textile mill designed with considerable architectural pretensions. It was all part of a larger scale urban development consisting of employees' housing, speculative housing and the parish church.
