Roadside stall near Holbeach, Lincolnshire
By 1951 the tulip fields were becoming a major springtime tourist attraction, and this was given focus in 1958 with the founding of the annual Tulip Parade in Spalding. Stalls such as this, selling cut flowers and bulbs, sprang up to tap the passing market. The small windmill in the background is presumably part of the window dressing.
