Saint John's Hall, Northampton, Northamptonshire

This building was built in the 14th century. It was originally the Infirmary of the Hospital of Saint John. That means it was a hospital attached to an almshouse. The building continued to be used as an almshouse from the Reformation (c1527) to 1870.
