St Nicholas' Cathedral, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear

A view St Nicholas' Cathedral from south on St Nicholas' Street. It was formerly a parish church. It has been a cathedral since 1882. It dates mostly from the mid 14th century with some earlier (Norman) work in the North-West crossing and north arcade. The tower and spire date from the 15th century.
