The Chantry House, Towcester, Northamptonshire
This building was originally a chantry for two priests. It is first mentioned in 1460. It was suppressed (closed) during the Reformation in the 16th century. However by 1552 it was back in use, but as a grammar school. It was used as a school and master's house until 1866, when it became a house.
