The Pier, Eastbourne, East Sussex
The deck of Eastbourne Pier, lined with gift shops and with a theatre at the far seaward end. The pier was designed by Eugenius Birch between 1866 and 1872 and built by the Eastbourne Pier Company. The pier now stretches to a distance of 500 feet.
