Todmorden Town Hall, Todmorden, West Yorkshire

Town Hall opened on the 3rd April, 1875 by the Postmaster General, Lord John Manners. It was built for Samuel, John and Joshua Fielden in a classical style. It is noted for an array of impressive statues, such as one of 2 female figures linked in friendship and seated on a pedestal inscribed 'LANCASHIRE/YORKSHIRE', to either side are groups depicting the Lancashire cotton industry and the engineering and agriculture of Yorkshire. It is one of the finest town halls in West Yorkshire.
