Uffington Castle, Uffington, Oxfordshire
An aerial view of Uffington Castle; an Iron Age hillfort on the chalk downs. It is situated south of Uffington White Horse near the Ridgeway. The fort once had timber walls and was later faced with sarsen stones. This site is managed, maintained and owned by the National Trust.
