Description

Part of Eileen Deste's series of photographs of prison doors (DES01/23). This group comprises 12 colour transparencies, 10 of which show entrances to various prisons including HMPs Wandsworth, Wormwood Scrubs and Lincoln. The remaining two transparencies are a colour portrait of Miss Deste (see DES01/22/08/01 and DES01/22/08/02 for black & white versions) and a transparency showing the chimney at Rhodes Print Works in Rochdale.
